Accounts Payable Specialist - Immediate StartManchester City CentreUp to £30,000The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a fast-paced retail business based in Manchester City Centre. This role will support the finance team with the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger, with a particular focus on high-volume processing and stock-related invoices.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing high volumes of purchase invoices, including stock and supplier invoicesMatching, batching, and coding invoices against purchase orders and goods received notesReconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepanciesManaging supplier queries and building strong working relationshipsSupporting weekly BACS payment runsAssisting with month-end processes including accruals and reportingEnsuring accurate recording of stock-related transactions within the finance systemSupporting with data integrity and maintaining accurate financial recordsAd-hoc duties to support the wider finance teamRequirementsPrevious experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger roleExperience working within a retail or stock-driven environment is highly desirableStrong understanding of stock invoices, PO matching, and reconciliation processesAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skills and a proactive approachExperience using finance systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Sage)Immediately available ..... full job details .....
