Accounts Payable Clerk

Axon Moore is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a busy finance team based in Trafford Park on an initial 3 - 6 month contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent.This is a great opportunity for someone who is immediately available or available at short notice and enjoys working in a fast-paced, transactional finance environment. Location: West Manchester Salary: 28,000 - 32,000Main duties: Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficientlyMatching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notesInvestigating and resolving invoice discrepanciesManaging supplier statements and reconciling accountsResponding to supplier queries and resolving payment issuesPreparing and processing payment runsSetting up and maintaining supplier accountsEnsuring invoices are correctly coded and authorisedSupporting month-end processes and reconciliationsMaintaining accurate and up-to-date AP recordsAssisting with general finance administration as required Candidate specification:We are looking for someone with previous Accounts Payable experience, ideally within a busy or high-volume environment.You will be: Confident processing invoices and dealing with supplier queriesComfortable working to deadlines and managing competing prioritiesFrom a fast paced sector such as retail, FMCG, Wholesale, Ecom.A good communicator with a professional approachConfident using Excel and finance systemsAble to work independently while also ..... full job details .....
