Pure are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join an innovative biotech company on a 15 month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave. This role will be supporting finance operations across both UK and US entities, and will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growing organisation.
Reporting into the Global Financial Controller who is based in the UK and working day-to-day with the Global Finance Manager (US), you will be responsible for managing the US accounts payable function and providing support and cover for the UK Finance Assistant when required.
The key responsibilities are as follows -
- Supplier set-up and management of AP inboxes
- Processing and validating purchase orders in the ERP system (IFS)
- Invoice processing, reconciliation of supplier statements, and resolving discrepancies
- Credit card, virtual card, and staff expense claim administration
- Arranging and reconciling payments through online banking
- Month-end accruals, journals, and reconciliations
- Supporting process improvements, system documentation, and ad hoc finance projects
