Accounts Assistant

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a local and established manufacturing business in Poole in their search for an Accounts Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis. Key Details: Location: PooleContract: Temp to permSalary: £28,00 £30,000/equivalent hourly rate Working pattern: 5 days in office Responsibilities: Processing supplier invoices and managing the accounts payable ledgerRaising sales invoices and supporting accounts receivable activitiesAssisting with bank reconciliations and cash allocationSupporting month-end close, including journals and accrualsHandling queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders Requirements: Previous experience in accounts payable or receivableStrong attention to detail and good organisational skillsConfident using Excel and accounting systemsProactive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentPart-qualification or active studying of AAT/ACCA/CIMA preferred All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.We will consider all qualified applications for this position.
