Accounts Assistant

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a local and established manufacturing business in Poole in their search for an Accounts Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis.

Key Details:

• Location: Poole
• Contract: Temp to perm
• Salary: £28,00 £30,000/equivalent hourly rate 
• Working pattern: 5 days in office

Responsibilities:

• Processing supplier invoices and managing the accounts payable ledger
• Raising sales invoices and supporting accounts receivable activities
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and cash allocation
• Supporting month-end close, including journals and accruals
• Handling queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

• Previous experience in accounts payable or receivable
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Confident using Excel and accounting systems
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Part-qualification or active studying of AAT/ACCA/CIMA preferred
