Think Accountancy and Finance have partnered with a global, well-known business based in Watford, we are looking for a proactive and technically strong Accounts Assistant to join their consistently evolving finance team.You will need to have experience across both payables and receivables, alongside a solid understanding of accounting principles. You will also need to be confident and comfortable using Excel, as you will be handling large sets of data on a regular basis.This position would be ideal for someone looking to join a reputable, fast-paced business, who can prioritise workload, has high attention to detail, and enjoys being part of motivated and positive team!Experience working within a multi-site business and exposure to multiple currencies would be highly beneficial.Responsibilities include:A 50/50 split across Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableProcessing purchase invoices, checking POs and ensuring accurate codingRaising sales invoices and supporting billing processesManaging supplier accounts, resolving invoice queries and discrepanciesInputting and maintaining accurate data within Excel spreadsheetsProducing reports and uploading then posting data Supporting month-end processes where requiredLiaising with internal stakeholders across multiple sitesEnsuring compliance with internal controls and finance proceduresRequirements Experience in purchase and sales ledgerStrong Excel skills, ( PIVOTS, LookUps, SumIFs)Large system skills such as Oracle, MS 365 or ..... full job details .....
