Accounts Assistant
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be involved in a broad range of finance and administration duties. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing subcontractor applications and invoices, ensuring accurate records and timely paymentsRaising and posting sales invoicesProcessing company credit card transactions and employee expensesAssisting with banking activities and reconciliationsCarrying out daily accounting tasks using Sage 200Managing a busy shared finance inbox and responding to queriesAssisting with payroll-related and labour wage queriesProducing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, including the use of VLOOKUPs and Pivot TablesSupporting the wider finance team with general accounts and administrative dutiesThe Ideal CandidatePrevious experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar accounting roleExperience using Sage 200 or comparable accounting softwareStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot TablesExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectivelyGood communication skills and a team-oriented ..... full job details .....
