Accounts Assistant

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant with strong sales ledger skills and a keen eye for detail? Our client is seeking a proactive team player to join their friendly finance team in Coleshill.

Location: Coleshill (on-site)
Pay: From £14.35 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Duration: Temporary, ongoing
The role: 

• Processing and maintaining the sales ledger, ensuring invoices are raised accurately and on time.
• Carrying out very light, soft credit control duties, chasing outstanding payments that are up to five days overdue.
• Reconciling accounts and supporting the wider finance team with month-end tasks.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with ad-hoc reports as required.

 
The ideal candidate: 

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role, with a good understanding of sales ledger processes.
• A confident communicator with a methodical and organised approach.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (required due to location).
