Accounts Assistant

This Accounts Assistant role will sit within their long standing and supportive finance team, providing key support to the wider business as it continues to grow and succeed. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to ensure accurate records of customer payments are maintained and that any issues or queries are resolved promptly, helping to deliver the highest levels of customer service. Working alongside the Finance Manager, the Accounts Assistant will play a key role in ensuring service standards are met while managing a high-volume workload accurately and efficiently. Key tasks and responsibilities Process daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all banking transactions and supporting documentation. Investigate, reconcile, and resolve outstanding items, discrepancies, and unmatched transactions in a timely manner. Process and reconcile customer payments and refunds.
