Accounts Assistant
Your new companyHays Accountancy and Finance are partnering exclusively with a well-established services group to recruit a hands-on and experienced Accounts Assistant for their growing finance team in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. Reporting to the Finance Manager within a close-knit team, the role will take control of all transactional finance duties including payroll, purchase/sales ledger, credit control through to reconciliations and month-end support. The position offers remote/office hybrid working once settled in of 3 days on-site, 2 days remote. This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit finance team, adding value to a successful business.Your new roleYour key duties will involve managing and processing all accounts payable and receivable invoices, along with related duties, supplier payment processing, bank reconciliations and credit control processes. You will process both weekly and monthly payroll with all payroll administration, dealing with any accounting/payroll queries, along with liaising with supplier/customers when needed. You will maintain accurate financial records and support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc duties, month-end close processes, along with process improvement initiatives as the business grows further.What you''ll need to succeedTo be considered for this hands-on Accounts Assistant role, you will need experience in a similar position, strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
