Accounts Assistant - Welwyn Garden City£30-33kThis exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful, multi-national construction firm, seeking to appoint a new member to their growing teamBased in Welwyn Garden City your main responsibilities will be to support the finance team with responsibility for transactional accounts and customer admin.Reporting to the Financial Controller the transactional responsibilities will include:Bank reconciliation for UK and Ireland companies (Sterling and Euros)Cashbook and General ledger entries/journalsAnalysing and reconciling credit card statementsProcessing /Creating payments onto financial softwareManagement and escalation (where necessary) of debtor financial queriesAllocating receivables to the correct accounts and managing or escalating any enquiriesDebt chasing and liaising with debt collection agencies, as well as producing legal collection letters and CCJ productionChecking and administering credit limits, as well as checking new supplier credentials and adding them to our systemGenerating and sending customer statements on a monthly basisProcessing payroll, employee mileage/expense claims (if cover required)Further administrative and financial duties on an ad-hoc basisWe''re seeking a dynamic, ambitious self-starter who seeks to join a social and hard working team in a contemporary and team focused working environment. ..... full job details .....
