Aka Recruitmentare proud to be working with a long standing client of ours to bring you this Accounts Assistant role. Based in Huddersfield, you will be joining a family run business as they continue to go through growth. Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, a salary basic of -26-28k will be offered along with the option to progress further
Job duties include:- Process and reconcile a high volume of transactions
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
- Generate and send invoices to customers/suppliers
- Ensure accuracy of all invoice details, including pricing, quantities and terms
- Follow up on overdue payments
- Liaise with the sales team regarding customer credit issues
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Experience or knowledge within an accounts assistant role is advantageous
- Knowledge of Sage accounting software is again advantageous
