Job Title: Accounts AssistantLocation: Long Crendon (Hybrid working: office-based Tuesday to Thursday, remote Monday and Friday)Contract Details: Full time, PermanentHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch break)Salary: 25,000 - 30,000 per annumBenefits and Perks:Hybrid working model20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 25 days with length of serviceChristmas shutdownCompany pension (7% employer / 1% employee contribution)Regular company events throughout the yearSupportive and collaborative working environmentResponsibilities:Managing purchase and sales ledgersPosting and sending daily sales invoicesProcessing purchase invoices and reconciling supplier statementsMonitoring aged payables and receivablesPreparing weekly BACS payment runs and issuing remittance adviceCashbook postings for all bank accountsUpdating and maintaining cashflow forecastsSupporting credit control activities and resolving queriesReconciling debtor ledgers and PVA import statementsProcessing staff expenses and credit card claimsSupporting month-end and year-end finance processesCreating new customer and supplier accountsLiaising with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issuesMaintaining accurate financial records within the ERP systemProviding administrative and ad-hoc support to the Finance DirectorSkills and Attributes:Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant roleStrong attention to detail with high levels of accuracyWell-organised with good ..... full job details .....
