Accounts Assistant - 6/7 month role

SG Personnel are working with a global business who have a facility based in Cramlington with a focus on engineering supplies.

The Company are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to support the team during a period of system migration in accounting software.- The newly appointed person will provide day-to-day operational and administrative support within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring supplier payments, customer invoicing, ledger accuracy, month-end reporting and compliance with company financial procedures.

The role works closely with sales, customer service and operational teams to maintain strong working capital and accurate financial records.

The successful candidate will have strong all-round accounting knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and prior experience working under pressure.-

Working hours are flexible between 8-4 or 9-5 Monday to Friday.- There is a possibility that the length of assignment could be extended, or even made permanent, dependant upon factors in the meantime.
