Accounts Administrator

The One Group are working with an established organisation in Cambridge, who are looking to appoint an Accounts Administrator to join their finance team on a full time, permanent basis. Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm 5 days per week on-site. Please note there is no parking on-site. You''ll be getting involved in a really varied workload covering billing, bank reconciliations, high-volume payments and receipts, journals, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting. Responsibilities: Managing and processing billing across a large number of individual accounts Processing high volumes of payments and receipts Completing bank and balance sheet reconciliations Allocating payments accurately across accounts Posting journals and investigating discrepancies Supporting with quarter-end and year-end processes Producing reports and analysing financial information Managing outstanding balances and supporting with credit control activity Requirements: 1 year+ experience working within a finance role Good Excel skills Accounting system experience AAT Level 3 or a relevant degree would be beneficial You might be a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or Finance Administrator ready for something with a bit more responsibility, or perhaps a finance/accounting graduate who has picked up some solid practical experience since graduating.
