Accountant

Working for an established and growing business based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. With a turnover of approximately £3 million and exciting plans. The company is looking for an experienced Accountant to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function.Working closely with the business owner, this role offers plenty of autonomy and variety. It''s a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of finance, supporting business decisions, and becoming a trusted member of the team.Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, AAT or QBE)Wellingborough, Northamptonshire • Growing Local Business • Flexible Hours Key Responsibilities Month-end reporting Cash flow management and reporting PandL reporting Producing Balance sheets Producing the trial balance Explaining financial information to the Managing Director Accruals and prepayments Maintaining the fixed asset register Posting journals Purchase ledger Sales ledger Bank reconciliations VAT returns Running BACS payments Credit control About You ACCA, ACA, CIMA or AAT qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE) Previous experience managing a broad finance role Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the finance function Confident communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Positive, proactive and practical approach Other information On-site parking Friendly working environment Opportunity to take ownership of the finance ..... full job details .....
