Junior Part Time Accountant

Our client, a successful fashion supplier is looking for a motivated and reliable Junior Part-Time Accountant to join our team in Market Harborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to develop their experience and progress their career within a friendly and supportive working environment. The Role Working closely with the wider finance team, you will assist with the day-to-day accounting functions of the business and help ensure that financial records are accurate and up to date. Key Responsibilities Processing purchase and sales invoices Bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable Preparing and posting journals Supporting month-end processes and management accounts Assisting with VAT returns and other financial reporting Monitoring outstanding payments and receipts Assisting with general bookkeeping duties Providing administrative support to the finance team Helping with year-end accounts and liaising with external accountants when required About You We are looking for someone who is: Part-qualified or currently studying towards AAT, ACCA, CIMA or a similar accounting qualification Ideally has some previous experience in an accounts or finance role Confident using Excel and comfortable working with accounting software Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Numerate and able to work accurately to deadlines Reliable, professional and keen to ..... full job details .....
