We re partnering with a leading international business to find a Stock Accountant to join their high-performing finance team based in Basingstoke.In this role, you ll be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of financial reporting and stock-related accounting. You ll work closely with supply chain, commercial, and operational teams to ensure inventory accuracy, strong financial controls, and continuous improvement of finance processes.What you ll be doing: Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting across international entitiesSupervise month-end close activities and maintain consistent complianceManage balance sheet reconciliations and contribute to the audit processMaintain accurate inventory and stock accounting records, including valuation, reconciliations, and variance analysisPartner with supply chain and operations to investigate stock discrepancies and support inventory accuracyProvide insight into stock movements, write-offs, and costing implicationsIdentify and implement process improvements in inventory and wider finance operationsSupport the Finance Manager and collaborate with other departments to improve efficiencyMentor and support junior team members as needed What we re looking for: Fully qualified or exam-qualified (ACA, ACCA or ..... full job details .....
