We re working with a global business to recruit a Capital Accountant to join their high-performing finance team based in Basingstoke.This is a great opportunity to take ownership of fixed asset accounting, capital expenditure reporting, and lease management across multiple entities. You ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards and driving improvements across capital-related processes in a dynamic, international environment.What you ll be doing: Manage end-to-end capital accounting processes, including additions, disposals, and transfersMaintain the fixed asset register and ensure accurate depreciation postingsReconcile fixed assets and capital work-in-progress (CWIP) accounts monthlyEnsure all capital expenditure is accurately recorded and aligned with company policySupport lease accounting in line with IFRS 16, including calculations and reportingCollaborate with project and operational teams to track and monitor capital projectsAssist with internal and external audits related to fixed assets and capital reportingIdentify and implement process improvements within capital accountingSupport the Finance Manager and wider finance team with ad hoc analysis and reporting What we re looking for: Fully qualified or exam-qualified accountant (ACA, ..... full job details .....
