Accountant - Part time

Pure are recruiting for a part time Accountant to support an organisation based in St Ives, this role will initially be on a temporary basis for 3 months while the organisation decide on the longer term plans for the role.-

We can be open to consider hours between 14 and 30 per week and the organisation are open to this being worked across the week or full days.-

Working alongside the Financial Controller this role will take on the following tasks

- Assist the Financial Controller with the production of the group monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, cashflow, KPI''s and variance analysis.
- Taking on the day to day finance tasks such as, bank reconciliations, AP & AR processing, cashflow forecasting and managing intercompany transactions
- Manage the fixed asset register
- Production of the quarterly VAT return
- Process monthly payroll
- Support the annual external audit
- Assist with the group monthly re-forecast and annual budget process.-

You must be comfortable taking on the above mentioned tasks with minimal supervision and have strong Excel knowledge. You must be comfortable working within a small team, and be able to prioritise your own workload.-
