Trial Balance are delighted to be working with a highly-regarded accountancy practice in Penzance, looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to join its team. Working with a diverse portfolio of clients, you''ll enjoy a broad range of accounting and taxation responsibilities alongside regular client contact and the opportunity to support more junior colleagues. As Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include: - Managing a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies - Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements - Preparing personal and corporate tax returns and providing practical advice where required - Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments - Producing management accounts - Responding to client queries and building strong working relationships - Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team The successful Senior Accountant will: Have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and be confident across accounts preparation and taxation work.
