BOTH FULL AND PART-TIME CONSIDERED This is a hands-on financial control role at a pivotal moment for the business. My client are preparing for their first statutory audit under a new group structure, and that brings additional reporting, control and disclosure requirements that need experienced hands behind them. Client Details A fast-growth SaaS business based in Ulverston, Lake District. Fantastic growth plans and financially very strong. Role will be predominantly site-based with some flexibility - ability to get to the offices is essential. Description Own day-to-day financial control across the group entities, including bank, ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany, accruals and prepayments. Drive a robust monthly close, with clear management accounts and commentary at department, entity, and consolidated level. Prepare consolidated cash flow forecasts and support active cash management to optimise interest earned across the group. Prepare monthly management accounts for the leadership team, including KPI and variance analysis. Perform detailed review of transactions at the department and general ledger level, identifying variances from the budget and prior actuals. Support UK and international VAT returns, payroll filings, corporation tax workings and statutory reporting at entity and group level. Partner with non-finance teams as a trusted source of commercial insight, helping operational leaders read their numbers and make better-informed decisions. ..... full job details .....
