Your new companyA well established accountancy practice providing a wide range of services to SMEs, owner-managed businesses and private individuals. They pride themselves on delivering a high-quality, personalised service and are looking for an experienced and proactive Accountant to join the team. Your new roleThis is a varied position offering exposure to all aspects of practice accounting. The successful candidate will work closely with a portfolio of clients and be responsible for preparing accounts, tax returns and management information, whilst supporting clients with their day-to-day financial needs.Key Responsibilities Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships Preparation and submission of Corporation Tax returns Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals, directors and sole traders Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts Reviewing bookkeeping records and maintaining accurate financial data Liaising directly with clients and providing ongoing accounting and tax support Assisting clients with cloud accounting software and systems queries Supporting the Partners with ad hoc projects and practice-related assignments Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines What you''ll need to succeedYou will be a well-rounded practice professional who is comfortable working across accounts, tax and client advisory work.Requirements Ideally, you will be qualified.
