Account Manager

An experienced Account Manager (Hard FM) is required to lead engineering and maintenance services across a highly regulated site in Oxford. The environment includes manufacturing, clean rooms, laboratories, offices and critical plant areas. You''ll take ownership of a c.£2.5m Hard FM operation, leading the on-site engineering team while managing client relationships, compliance, commercial performance and service delivery. A strong engineering background is highly valued, while pharmaceutical experience is desirable rather than essential. The Role As the Account Manager, you''ll: Lead Hard FM delivery across manufacturing, laboratory, clean room and plant environments. Manage PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring accurate real-time CAFM records. Build strong client relationships as the primary on-site operational contact. Drive contractual performance against agreed KPIs, SLAs and compliance requirements. Manage budgets, forecasting, WIP, debt, invoicing and overall financial performance. Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering and facilities management team. Oversee statutory compliance, permits, risk management and specialist subcontractor performance. Drive continuous improvement while protecting asset reliability and operational availability.
