About the Role
Pertemps is looking for an experienced 7.5 Ton Driver to join Parcelforce Worldwide in Preston. This full-time role pays £15.95 per hour. You will operate a 7.5-tonne Royal Mail vehicle, completing assigned routes safely. Responsibilities include loading and unloading mail and parcels, delivering items to distribution hubs and local teams, performing daily vehicle inspections, and maintaining vehicle standards. Professional customer service is essential. You must hold a full UK manual licence with C1 entitlement and no more than six penalty points. Proven 7.5T driving experience is required, along with solid route knowledge.

Your Role
- Drive a 7.5-tonne Royal Mail vehicle safely and responsibly on assigned routes.
- Load and unload mail and parcels efficiently.
- Deliver mail and parcels to distribution points and local delivery teams.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Royal Mail professionally.
- Full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5T) with no more than 6 points.
- Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle essential.
- Good knowledge of Rotherham and surrounding areas.
- Physically fit with ability to lift parcels up to 20kg.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to pass a DBS (criminal background) check.
- You will also need to provide a Valid Tachograph card.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday 11am to 8pm
- Pay Rate: £15.95
