About the Role

Pertemps is recruiting a 7.5 Ton Driver to work on behalf of Parcelforce Worldwide in Gloucester, offering a salary of £15.95 per hour on a full-time basis. In this role, you will drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle safely along assigned routes, loading and unloading mail and parcels for delivery to distribution points and local teams. Daily vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness are required, alongside providing professional customer service. Applicants need a full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement, no more than six points, and essential previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle. A good knowledge of the local area is also necessary.

Your Role

  • Drive a 7.5-tonne Royal Mail vehicle safely and responsibly on assigned routes.
  • Load and unload mail and parcels efficiently.
  • Deliver mail and parcels to distribution points and local delivery teams.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent Royal Mail professionally.
Requirements
  • Full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5T) with no more than 6 points.
  • Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle essential.
  • Good knowledge of Rotherham and surrounding areas.
  • Physically fit with ability to lift parcels up to 20kg.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to pass a DBS (criminal background) check.
  • You will also need to provide a Valid Tachograph card.

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 10am to 8pm
  • Pay Rate: £15.95
