NHS Lothian Health Records Service leadership role to manage and develop the Health Records Service in line with strategic and operational plans, engage and influence National Health Records strategy, and ensure a comprehensive, efficient and secure service across acute, community and primary care sectors.Overall NHS Lothian responsibility for all aspects of the Health Records Service and Health Records Information, including expert advice on Health Records matters and reporting and monitoring of information to Clinical Divisions, with communication and reporting on highly complex Health Records information within NHS Lothian and externally.To work within policy development, policy implementation, strategic planning and business case information, ensuring compliance with Health Records Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all functions and delivering financial balance for the Health Records function.Please note: we anticipate a high level of interest in this position and may close the vacancy early when sufficient applications are received.
