Overview
1st Line IT Support Engineer (Cloud) – Taunton, Somerset (Hybrid-working) • Up to £28,000 per year • Plus excellent company benefits (including 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, bonus schemes, employee discount platform, pension, etc.).Skills and Experience
Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar IT role logging and resolving tickets on a Service DeskAct as first point of contact via phone, email or chat functionProvide support across Microsoft 365, workstations, servers, printers, networks and vendor applicationsCarry out daily system checks and asset management tasksContribute to knowledge base documentation and process improvementsUndertake training to build technical skills and certificationGCSEs (including Maths and English) or equivalentKnowledge of IT systems, ticketing tools and service desk operationsA-levels, BTEC or IT-related qualifications are desirableMicrosoft 365 administration knowledgeExperience within a managed service provider highly desirableNB: A valid UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.The Opportunity
My client who are a managed service provider in Somerset and they are currently looking for a 1st Line Support Engineer (Cloud) on a permanent basis to join their busy service desk team that is on a successful growth path.This role involves providing first-line IT support across multiple sites, resolving tickets efficiently and maintaining an excellent customer service at all times.The successful candidate will also assist with user training, process documentation and occasional onsite support.Applications
