Cover People are recruiting for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Stockport. This rewarding role involves working closely with a KS1 child on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support throughout the school day. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the pupil access learning, build confidence, and develop positive relationships within the classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
• A positive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children''s development
• Resilience and the ability to remain calm and consistent when faced with challenges
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting individual needs
• A commitment to helping children achieve both academically and socially
