We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school serving the Oldham and Tameside community.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils across the primary age range in the classroom.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Help deliver engaging activities that promote progress and confidence.
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Support children with additional learning needs where required.
• Assist with preparing classroom resources and maintaining an organised learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents to help every child achieve their best.

We''re Looking For Someone Who:

• Is passionate about supporting children''s learning and development.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is patient, caring and adaptable.
• Works well as part of a team and uses their own initiative.
• Has experience working with primary-aged children (school or other relevant settings is desirable).
• Holds a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience (desirable but not essential).
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
