This friendly and supportive school is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.The school is looking to appoint a 1 to 1 Support Assistant on a part-time temporary basis, working mornings only from 8:30am to 12pm. The successful 1 to 1 Support Assistant will be working closely with a Key Stage 1 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder / ASD, providing classroom support, encouraging engagement with learning activities, and helping to build positive relationships throughout the school day.The successful 1 to 1 Support Assistant will have:Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder / ASDA minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant childcare qualificationExperience working within a primary school settingA calm, patient and nurturing approachExcellent communication and behaviour management skillsA can-do attitude and the ability to build positive relationshipsIn return for the above you can expect to ..... full job details .....
