Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Benefits and Homeless Prevention - Strategic Commissioner for a Local Authority Client based in East London.In this role, you will lead the strategic commissioning of services to prevent homelessness, drive market development initiatives, and ensure high-quality support for vulnerable residents at risk of homelessness or rough sleeping.About the role: You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:Develop and implement commissioning strategies aligned with local and national homelessness prevention policies.Spearhead market development strategies with service providers to enhance support for individuals at risk of homelessness.Engage with public, private, and voluntary sector partners to foster effective collaboration and address complex issues in homelessness prevention.Oversee budget management for commissioned services, ensuring value for money and alignment with corporate savings targets.Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for senior management and elected officials on commissioned services and outcomes.
