Due to further expansion, our client is now seeking a permanent Sales Professional with a demonstrable track record in the development of new business sales in the very wide and diverse field of Mechanical Engineering. It would be expected that the candidate be from a sales background and be target driven. This is mainly an office-based role concentrating on generating leads and developing customer relationships. Job Role Identify leads and target relevant companies Develop prospects from qualified leads Engage with the prospect company to identify needs and opportunities Secure enquiries for suitable contracts Follow-up on submitted proposals and quotations to prospects Negotiate and resolve any objections to the submitted proposal/quotation Convert proposals and quotations to orders Ensure the CRM system is utilised and updated to maximise sales opportunities Maintain customer relationships to build repeat business Ideal Experience Ability to drive sales and build strong client relationships Generating leads and identifying target contacts Strong prospecting and sales experience Track record of selling into relevant sectors Experience of selling bespoke/high volume contracts Experience of negotiating contracts Personal Qualities Required Ambitious, credible and technically minded Excellent organisational and presentation skills Good ..... full job details .....
