EA Associates are working with an Ipswich-based civil engineering contractor with projects across East Anglia. We are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role would suit someone with 3-5 years of experience, but they are also open to considering applicants from Assistant Quantity Surveyors. Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget. Key Responsibilities: Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation Managing payments to subcontractors and suppliers Monitoring project costs and variations Supporting the preparation of final accounts Assisting in procurement processes and negotiating contracts Reporting project financial performance to senior management Requirements: 3-5 years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in civil engineering but also open to general construction backgrounds. Open to candidates with less experience looking to step up from Assistant level Good working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant software Full UK driving licence Why Apply?
