They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Edinburgh.Job Description:Responsibilities:- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for residential projects.- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis.- Manage and control project costs, ensuring projects are completed within budget.- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.- Analyse and negotiate contracts and subcontracts.- Monitor project progress and report on any variations from the project plan.- Conduct risk, value management, and cost control.- Advise on procurement strategy and recommend procurement routes.- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.- Prepare and submit final accounts.Requirements:- Bachelor s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, specifically in residential projects.- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.- Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Office.- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.- Ability to work independently and as ..... full job details .....
