Quantity Surveyor/Estimator Opportunity - Central ScotlandFirst People Solutions is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Estimator/Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading construction company based in Central Scotland.Role Overview:Position: Estimator/Quantity SurveyorLocation: Central ScotlandKey Responsibilities:Manage tender processes from initial review to final submission.Conduct take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities.Liaise with the sub-contractor supply chain to ensure competitive pricing.Analyze and assess quotations for compliance and value.Work closely with the Development and Bid Manager to ensure profitability.Present bids to Senior Management for review.Required Experience and Skills:Proven Estimating experience within a Main Contractor or Sub-Contractor background.Strong knowledge of the Scottish construction market.Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.Experience with Conquest estimating software or similar is an advantage.Strong communication and analytical skills.This is a fantastic opportunity for an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established company with exciting projects.
