The Role As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks with a specific focus on the building fabric. Your duties will include handling a wide range of maintenance activities such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, and addressing mechanical services like boiler and air-handling plant repairs. You will also be expected to carry out new installations and conduct routine safety checks on key systems including fire alarms, emergency lights, and CCTV. The role requires participation in a 3-week rota for 24-hour call-out cover, and there will be occasions where you will work outside regular hours to support large functions and events.
