The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing the supply of radiation protection sampling equipment, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety laws and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and manage the supply of radiation protection sampling equipment, including Personal Air Sampling pumps and air samplers.Undertake repairs, order spare parts, and ensure relevant records are accurately updated.Act as the Waste Responsible Officer for the Health Physics Laboratory, sorting, categorising, and sentencing waste, and initiating transfer or clearance documentation.Provide support to J1XE50 operations, including routine analysis and monitoring services in the HP laboratory.Assist in the production of Electronic Transfer Certificates (ETC) for waste produced and support Radioactive Material Controllers (RMCs) in the production of RAM transfer documents.Provide cover for overtime, shifts, and ..... full job details .....
