Leading main contracting organisation seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC contract knowledge to join them on a contract basis in Cambridge, This contract role is predominantly site-based, 3 days a week, to enable coordination and alignment with the site team. You will work on the delivery of an 8million project which is due to complete in June 2025. Key Responsibilities:Overseeing the commercial delivery of the projectManaging site-based commercial activities to ensure successful project deliveryHandling subcontractor procurement processes from start to final accountExecuting NEC change management processes autonomouslyCoordinating project CVRs and reporting with profit take and revenue recognitionManaging upstream change from Early Warning Notices to ImplementationSupporting the Quantity Surveyor with CVR/reporting processes where necessaryJob Requirements:Extensive experience in quantity surveying working for a main contractorStrong understanding and experience with NEC contractsProficient in end-to-end subcontractor managementCompetency in CVR/reporting processesStrong commercial acumen and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsIf you are a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a passion for delivering high-quality projects and seeking a new challenge, we would love to hear from you. ..... full job details .....
