This role offers a great opportunity to handle both payroll and sales ledger functions in a friendly and supportive environment. About the Role As the Finance Assistant, you will manage two weekly payrolls (for under 100 employees across two companies), ensuring accurate processing of timesheets, running payroll reports, and handling payments. You will also manage the sales ledger for three companies, performing credit control duties and addressing sales invoice queries. You ll play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy of financial records, ensuring aged debtors are up to date, and processing payments efficiently. Additionally, you will take on some HR administrative tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities: Manage the weekly payroll for two companies, including timesheet calculations, updating Sage Payroll, running reports, and processing bank payments. Upload pension scheme contributions to the provider on a weekly basis. Handle the sales ledger across three entities, raising invoices via QuickBooks, uploading sales invoices from the CRM, and posting sales receipts.
