Full responsibility for overseeing the production of every shift, ensuring targets are met and your shift is running efficiently and effectively. Proactively manage your staff ensuring you have the trained operatives to performance all relevant tasks. Ensure you have a plan in place to ensure you have continuous cover for all roles and are working towards multi skilled team.Manage your supervisor and team leaders to ensure they are delivering on all aspects of their roles efficiently.KPI- measure your shifts performance against set and agreed .Ensure Health and Safety guidelines are followed.Deliver cost improvements through identification and implementation of cost reduction projectsIdentify any training requirements for your team. Organise and plan required training where appropriate.
