Role Overview: Class People are actively seeking Qualified Teachers to work supply at a wonderful Special School in Swindon. The school is an education setting for children aged 4 to 19 with severe to moderate learning difficulties with other complex needs. The role is flexible and ongoing and the school is a very warm and friendly setting with its own farm/zoo on site for the children to learn and develop new skills.Company Overview: Class People are an independently run, family business specialising in the education sector. Class People was established over 20 years ago by our CEO who at the time was a supply teacher herself who wanted to create a better, more personalised service for client and candidate.Responsibilities: Plan and teach lessons, work with small groups and individual students.Prepare teaching materials, take registers and write reports.Help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn. Manage behaviour, mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children''s progress.Work with specialist teaching services, medical staff, counsellors and psychologists.
