Are you an experienced and successful sales leader looking for a new challenge? Our client is a globally operating precision engineering company and are actively recruiting for a Sales Manager to manage a sales team specialising in the Upstream Energy market in the EMEA region. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and develop the team comprising of 4 Technical Sales Engineers.You will report to the Global Sales Director for the sector and be accountable for managing the technical Sales Engineers and turnover in your territory. You will be expected to meet with the Sales Engineers on a regular basis to support with training, development, technical support and general sales support so ability to travel is a must. Travel will generally be around the UK team and Europe. The UK office is based in Nottingham so they ability to travel there within a reasonable time is ideal, but not essential. The Sales Engineers are the technical interface between the customers and the company s engineering, manufacturing, and project management depts so a good technical / engineering background is required.
