Commercial Litigation Solicitor (Manchester) The Role: Qualified Solicitor (c.2+ PQE) opportunity to join one of the largest and respected Commercial Litigation teams in Manchester. You will handle cases involving: Pre- and post-publication advice Crisis reputation management (defamation, privacy, online reviews) Media scrutiny and regulatory investigations Urgent injunctive relief Defamation and malicious falsehood claims Confidential information protection (NDAs, licensing, breach of confidence) Harassment and cyber security Data protection compliance and breach responses Role Requirements: In-depth knowledge of litigation, especially in defamation, privacy, breach of confidence, UK GDPR, and harassment County and High Court litigation experience Effective time management, billing, and cost recovery Understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules Ability to refer to the Head of Department when necessary Legal updates and blog contributions Desirable Skills: Defamation, privacy, GDPR, breach of confidence, and harassment experience Experience with injunctive relief and pre-publication advice Team player with business development skills Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and Media List requirements On offer: Competitive salary depending on experience and PQE level Minimum 25 days'' annual leave (increases with service) + office closure at Christmas Early finish one Friday a month Two days for charitable work annually Sports teams, hobby clubs, and social events Employee ..... full job details .....
