As a Junior Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with clients'' accounts, including bookkeeping, preparing VAT returns, and maintaining sales and purchase ledgers.Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeping and receipt analysisPreparing VAT returnsMaintaining sales and purchase ledgersAssisting with account preparation for Sole traders, Limited companies, and LLP''s up to trial balanceAssisting with the running of bank accounts and gaining approval for paymentsMaintaining relationships with all major stakeholdersWorking across teams to ensure best practise is maintained.
