Location: Aberdeen | Salary: 14.50-14.50 Hourly | Type: Temporary | We are currently recruiting Refuse Collection Drivers to operate bin lorries for a well-established waste and recycling operation in the Aberdeen area. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for steady weekday work with early finishes. The Role: Driving refuse collection vehicles (bin lorries) safely and responsibly Carrying out daily vehicle checks Assisting with waste and recycling collections where required Working as part of a crew to complete scheduled routes Adhering to all health and safety and road traffic regulations Requirements: Valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous experience driving large vehicles is preferred Good knowledge of road safety and safe driving practices Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team What s On Offer: £14.50 per hour Monday to Friday 7am - 2:30pm or Mon - Fri 2-6pm and Sat 7am - 12pm Overtime enhanced rates Ongoing work with a reputable employer Supportive team environment If you re a qualified HGV driver looking for consistent daytime work in Aberdeen, we d like to hear from you.

Location: Aberdeen | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Peterson are looking for a class 1 driver. Primarily responsible for operating transport vehicles as directed by line the supervisor. Performing loading and unloading of vessels, trailers, containers or other duties as directed by line supervisor in accordance with specified training and competency measures. Tasks and Responsibilities Participate in toolbox talks as and when required ensuring all relevant personnel are fully aware of the job task prior to commencement of work. Empowered to stop the job if an action is considered unsafe and report to line supervisor. Daily vehicle safety checks are conducted as per operator. Ensure driving skills are conducted in accordance with driver assessor audits, competency units and licence requirements. Accurate record of daily work / tachograph charts to be kept with driver for a period of minimum 28 days and no more than 42 days (analogue).
