Z/0S Engineer

Job and Workload Management* Monitor and manage batch jobs using JCL, SDSF, and scheduling tools* Ensure timely execution of workloads and resolve job failuresInstallation and Upgrade Management* Install and maintain system software using SMP/E* Apply patches, upgrades, and ensure software currencyIncident and Change Management* Provide L2/L3 production support and resolve incidents within SLA* Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions* Participate in CAB and support change deploymentsDisaster Recovery and Resilience* Support DR drills, system recovery, and failover activities* Ensure systems meet RTO/RPO objectivesVendor and Stakeholder Coordination* Work with vendors for issue resolution, upgrades, and support* Coordinate with cross-functional teams (CICS, DB2, MQ, Storage) Required Skills and QualificationsTechnical Skills* Strong experience in z/OS, JCL, JES2, SDSF* Knowledge of SMP/E, system upgrades, and patching* Experience in batch scheduling tools (TWS/Control-M)* Exposure to CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ* Familiarity with RACF/Security conceptsLA International is an award-winning partner of choice for many of the world''s most influential companies and government organisations.
