OverviewA leading global motorsport series is seeking a talented YouTube Channel Manager to join its Digital team and elevate its presence across YouTube.
As YouTube Channel Manager, you will play a key role in growing and shaping the global motorsport series'' official YouTube presence. This role will be central to delivering engaging and innovative video content that grows and excites the sport''s global audience. Reporting to the Senior Social Media Manager, you will manage the content calendar, publish and optimise videos, and be instrumental in managing the day-to-day management of their YouTube channel.
Responsibilities
Day-to-Day channel management:
Maintain the YouTube content calendar, ensuring content is scheduled, published, and optimised to reach and engage audiences effectively.
Agency/Freelancer/In-house Briefing:
Coordinate with video editors/agencies, from briefing through to delivery, including feedback on edits, design output for thumbnails and community engagement.
Insights and analysis:
Work with the business intelligence team to find insights and improvements for how the channel is managed and how content is performing.
Community Management:
Moderate and grow the organisations YouTube community across live and non-live output.
Third party support:
Collaborate with internal teams and key stakeholders such as creators, broadcasters, and publishers to ensure the delivery of innovative, high-quality content.

Platform Expertise:
Strong knowledge of YouTube best practice, with experience in managing and optimising channels to grow audiences and engagement.
Content Strategy:
Understanding of YouTube''s role within a wider content and digital strategy, with the ability to align output to organisational objectives.
Creative thinker:
Ability to develop and shape innovative content ideas designed specifically for YouTube.
SEO skills:
Ensure all content is optimised for search and is as discoverable as possible.
Collaborative Spirit:
Team-oriented, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work productively across multiple teams.
Data-Driven Approach:
A passion for using data and analytics to inform content decisions and measure performance.
