Children & Young People Trainee Assessor (CYP)

We are of a leading training provider for a Trainee Assessor in the Children & Young People sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with industry experience looking to move into an assessing role — full training will be provided, including support to gain an assessor qualification if not already held.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and support learners working towards CYP qualifications
• Conduct workplace visits and monthly progress reviews
• Manage a caseload and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
• Maintain accurate learner records and ensure compliance

Essential:

• Experience in Children & Young People sector
• Level 4 or 5 NVQ/QCF in CYP
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
• Willing to complete DBS and EWC registration

Desirable:

• Assessing qualification (TAQA/CAVA/A1) or willing to work towards one.
• Welsh speaking
