You will work with young people who are either vulnerable, on remand, or serving custodial sentences. This is a meaningful role where you can make a real difference every day. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide consistent, child-centred care in a secure environmentEstablish positive relationships with young people and provide 1:1 and group supportContribute to individual care planning and safeguarding measuresParticipate in educational, leisure, and behavioural development activitiesMaintain accurate and confidential recordsWork as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team on a 24-hour shift rota QualificationsA Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete within 2 years) Experience in one or more of the following:Residential childcareYouth justiceSpecial educationSupporting vulnerable children or adults Skills and RequirementsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsEmotional resilience and ability to remain calm under pressureAbility to work shifts, including sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidaysCommitment to equality, diversity, and ..... full job details .....
